Ladies Section

The Ladies Section currently comprises just under 30 friendly and enthusiastic lady members, across a range of handicap levels, many of whom regularly participate in ladies competitions. We provide a good mix of both social and competitive golf for the ladies of all abilities. The ladies main competition day is Wednesday when we have reserved tee times and there is a full annual programme with various competitions and trophies.

Sunday is nominated as our alternate day for competitions to make sure that the ladies that work during the week can also compete. Sunday is also our Monthly Medal Day and during the winter months this may also be played on a Saturday.

The other popular events are the Lady Captains Away Day, Lady Captain and Lady Vice Captain’s Day, and several friendly matches with other Golf Clubs.

As well as the Club’s social calendar we also organise and enjoy various other social occasions throughout the year. We are always keen to extend our Ladies membership whether you are a beginner or an experienced golfer. For more information please contact a member of staff at the Clubhouse.

The 2018 Lady Captain is Chris Blackwell.

Seniors Section

Our Seniors Gentlemens section meets on Tuesday mornings at 10.00am for friendly social golf with a monthly nine hole competition, finishing with either a coffee or lunch in the Clubhouse.

The seniors also take part in club competitions on other days as well as having ‘away days’ at local courses over the summer months, which often includes a meal after the competition.

New members are always welcome to join us on a Tuesday.

We also meet on Thursday at 1.00pm with the Ladies Section and competitions are held over the year. We join in with regular club competitions which are advertised throughout the year, on the website and also in the Clubhouse foyer. The presentation of prizes often takes place over a well earned drink. The atmosphere is relaxed and we look forward to welcoming new members of all abilities to join us.

The 2018 Seniors Captain is Iain Fisher.
